My performance: your own takings, targets and pay

Stylists can see their own takings, clients, rebooking rate, targets, commission and tips on My performance, and nobody else's.

My performance is each team member's own view of how they're going: their takings, clients, rebooking rate and time, compared with the period before, their targets, and their commission and tips. It shows only their own numbers, never anyone else's.

Opening My performance

Choose Reports in the menu. If you can only see your own numbers, it opens straight on My performance; if you can see the whole salon's reports too, it's the last tab.

My performance needs the "See their own takings and targets" permission, which owners, managers and staff all have to start with, and a column on the calendar. It works on a Front desk device without your password. Choose the dates at the top: This month (or This week, when your salon sets weekly targets), Last month, Pick a month, This week, Last week, Pick a week or Custom.

What My performance shows

My performance groups your figures as Team performance does, each with how it was worked out and the change from the period before (hover over the change to see the earlier figure):

  • Takings: Service takings, Retail takings, Total takings (the two together) and Tips.
  • Clients: Visits, Clients seen, New clients, Average spend, Rebooking rate, Retention and Retail attachment.
  • Time: Utilisation (booked time as a share of your rostered hours), No-shows and Cancellations.

Hover over a figure's name for what it means, or open How these numbers are worked out at the bottom. Each is defined in how each Team performance figure is worked out.

Takings here are the prices charged for the services and products put through under your name, after any discount on that item, before any discount off the whole sale, with tax if your salon's prices include it, and without tips. They count on the day of the sale, and voided sales are left out.

Your targets on My performance

When the dates are a month (or a week, if your salon sets weekly targets), My performance starts with Your targets for October 2026. For each target there's a bar with how far you've come, what's left to go, and whether you're On track, Behind, have Missed it or have reached it (Target reached).

Service takings, retail takings and new clients build up over the month, so they're compared with a share of the target that matches how much of your rostered time has gone by: "40% of your rostered time this month has gone by, so on track means at least 40% of each running total." Average spend and rebooking rate are compared with the target itself. If no targets have been set for you, it says so. See setting targets for your team.

Your pay on My performance

Your pay on My performance shows your commission and tips for the dates, worked out the same way as the salon's Pay report:

Figure What it is
Commission Your commission on services and on retail, and your rates.
Tips Your tips, yours in full.
Commission + tips The two together, on your takings after discounts and without tax. If a sale of yours was voided in these dates, what it earned comes off here.
Takings per rostered hour Your service and retail takings (after discounts, without tax) for each hour you were rostered, with your rostered hours and your hours with clients.

Your pay shows when you have a commission rate, tips or rostered hours. Commission is worked out on what the client paid, after discounts and without tax, at the rate you had on the day of each sale. See how commission is worked out.

Your month so far on the Today page

Team members who can see their own numbers and have a calendar column also get Your October so far (or Your week so far) on the Today page: up to three of their targets with how they're tracking, or their takings, rebooking rate and new clients when no targets are set. My performance → opens the full view.

Common questions

Why are my takings on My performance different from Your pay?

They're worked out differently on purpose. Takings are what the items were sold for, before any discount off the whole sale (and with tax if your salon's prices include it). Your pay works on what the client actually paid, after every discount and without tax, because that's what commission is paid on.

Why did my commission go down this month when I had a good month?

A sale from an earlier month was probably voided this month. What it earned comes off in the dates it was voided, so the month it was made doesn't change. Commission + tips in Your pay says how much came off for voided sales.

Can I see other team members' numbers?

No. My performance only ever shows your own. Seeing everyone's needs "See reports for the whole salon".

Why don't I see My performance?

You need "See their own takings and targets" and a column on the calendar. Ask your salon's owner or a manager.

Why is my rebooking rate low when my clients rebook?

The rebooking rate only counts completed visits where the client already had their next appointment booked by the end of that day. A client who books on a later day, online or by phone, doesn't count for that visit. Booking their next visit before they leave always counts.
